Information Technology Services for the Departments of Central Receiving
The Information Technology services office is located at 200 W. Lake Street in Fort Collins, CO and is open weekdays from 7:30am to 4:00pm.
The Information Technology office within the Departments of Central Receiving assumes a vital role in overseeing and managing the comprehensive spectrum of technology-related aspects for all thirteen distinct departments and programs. The duties encompass the efficient management of client systems, server systems, specialized industry applications, peripherals, security systems, software applications, website, telephones, and network infrastructure. The responsibilities extend to five buildings across the campus, as well as off-campus facilities.
In addition to day-to-day technology operations, the Information Technology office also engages in strategic planning, ensuring the effective allocation and utilization of information technology resources. By aligning their efforts with the mission of the Departments of Central Receiving, they play a pivotal role in enabling the accomplishment of goals and objectives through the optimal utilization of technology resources. This includes partnering with the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) and many other departments across campus.

Richard Thibault, BSIT
Information Technology Manager

Richard keeps all things technology (computers, servers, printers, peripherals, mobile devices, website, software applications, CCTV system, and much more) in 6 buildings both on and off-campus, up and running 24/7/365 for the Departments of Central Receiving.
Richard previously served as Chair of the Division of University Operations (DUO) IT Committee, forming partnerships and developing the future of Information Technology in DUO, and served as a member of the Division of Information Technology’s IT Strategic Advisory Committee representing the Division of University Operations and the DUO IT Committee. He is Co-Chair of the IT Community Steering Committee, and is a member of the the DoIT IT Strategy Committee.
Prior to Information Technology, Richard spent a decade in the Public Safety (911, Police, Fire, EMS) industry serving the communities of Northern Colorado and South Metro Denver.
Richard is a 2022 AP Star Award Nominee.
