Surplus Property is the reuse, resale, and recycle point for all items owned by Colorado State University. New items are received daily and our inventory is constantly changing.

Surplus Property receives new items every day, throughout the day. We list featured items on craigslist, Facebook, ebay, and Twitter with photos, prices, and descriptions. Specialty items and large lots are posted on GovDeals as online auctions. Photos of featured items are also shown below.

and RamCash for all purchases.
Tax Exempt purchasers must furnish appropriate sales tax exemption paperwork at the time of sale.

Fraudulent Online Listings
We have noticed an uptick in our online photos and listing information being used in fraudulent listings on sites like eBay.
Surplus Property does NOT list any items for sale on any online marketplaces other than GovDeals, Craigslist, and Facebook Marketplace.
Surplus Property does NOT ask for, or accept, payments via: PayPal, Amazon Payments, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Western Union, Facebook Pay, WorldRemit, Xoom, Wise, or MoneyGram.
Surplus Property offers two e-mail lists. Join our Public Sales and Auctions list for the latest finds at Surplus. If you are a campus department, be sure to join our Departmental Sales list for unique notifications specific to departments on campus. Both lists offer self-service registration where you can choose the list to join within each servie or unsubscribe if necessary.
Have an old computer, cell phone, monitor, microwave, or laptop and don't know how to dispose of it properly? Surplus Property will accept personally owned electronics from students, faculty, and staff for recycling for our standard service fee. All data containing electronic devices (cell phones, hard drives, etc.) are sanitized before destruction or re-sale.
