Welcome to CSU's new Multi-Carrier Shipping Software known as Transtream.  From this application you can pre-ship your package(s) by creating a Shipment Request Form for FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS.  This system is open to all Faculty, Staff, & Student Employees shipping for CSU business only.  No personal packages are allowed at this time.

Drop-Off Deadline

All packages must be received at the Shipping Desk or Mail Services by 3:00pm Monday - Friday to be processed the same day.  DHL pickup times vary each day and are not guaranteed to go out same day.

Package Weight

You must supply an approximate weight in order to get correct carrier rates.  Every package will be re-weighed by the Shipping Desk or Mail Services.  Final shipping charges will reflect ACTUAL weight of the package/envelope.  To view your final pricing, use the View Shipments app in Transtream.

International Shipping Documents

All international shipments must be pre-approved by Export Control.  International Commercial Invoices will now be produced by Transtream and electronically signed for UPS, DHL, and FedEx shipments, no longer requiring separate forms to be completed.  For USPS shipments, please complete the USPS Customs Form and include all three pages with your Shipment Request when sending the shipment to Mail Services.

Special Note Regarding USPS Library Mail & Media Mail Rates

Transtream offers the USPS Library Mail & Media Mail Rates as options for shipping.  Please be aware that these rates are extremely restrictive, and require compliance with all USPS regulations regarding this rate category.  Please click here for more information regarding these special rates classifications.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be able to import my address book that I had in iShip?

Yes!  Click here to request your iShip Address Book export file.  Only addresses enter prior to May 28th, 2019 are included in this file export.

Why are we changing softwares?

In an attempt to restore the ability to ship via multiple parcel carriers, it is necessary to change software vendors as iShip does not support multiple carriers.  This change is expected to bring the major carriers into one software for ease of use.  This vendor was decided after an exhaustive search and evaluation process.

Were campus constituents included in this process?

Yes!  A wonderful group of about 30 people from all over campus were included in the User Acceptance Testing of Transtream, providing feedback and helping us to improve the product before going live.
