Welcome to The Departments of Central Receiving and thank you for your interest in learning more about our department. As you will see through our Mission, Vision and Values we are an open door, inclusive campus partner with a strong desire to aid and benefit our campus in every way possible.
We extend an open invitation to contact any of our staff at any time to learn more about our departments and services. We appreciate talking with all departments and want to hear the good and the bad, so we can continually evaluate, recognize and/or improve our service expectations.
History
A History of Delivering for Colorado State University
Originally constructed in 1967 the Central Receiving building housed Centralized Shipping, Receiving, Bulk Mail Services and Mail Distribution. Prior to the construction of the Central Receiving building, we were housed in the basement of Laurel Hall and prior to that the Administration Building.
Even though our building may be the same, the Departments of Central Receiving has evolved in many ways over that past two decades particularly with many advancements in technology to support the growing and changing CSU landscape.
